Darryl Harris is an African American bassoonist with whom we have been in touch for some time. On Dec. 11, 2008 AfriClassical posted: “Bassoonist Darryl E. Harris, Sr. Plays at Children's Center for Communication and Development.” Darryl made a post in the Guest Book at AfriClassical.com yesterday:

"Darryl E. Harris, Sr Wednesday, 11/18/09, 10:01 PM The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is performing the music of Mr. William Grant Still on this evening in Natchez Mississippi. WOW!!!
