Winston-Salem State University Heritage Society: Music Appreciation Program April 29, 2017, 3pm; To Participate, RSVP by April 15th by Telephone

Winston-Salem State University is an HBCU located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Dr. DaBeth Manns writes:

Hello to all and here's hoping your 2017 has been excellent thus far!  I invite you to join me for an informal afternoon of musical fun on April 29th at 3pm (i.e., see flyer attached and feel welcome to forward it).  We plan to make plenty of joyful noise with hands on exposure to orchestra instruments for youth and community music networking.
Do RSVP by April 15th at (336) 793-2011 if you want to participate with a 2 to 5 minutes vocal or instrumental performance, dance routine, visual art presentation, poetry or prose recitation and/or reading.
This year too, I am pleased to feature an academic component (e.g., information sharing about local music lessons and math tutoring since each improves the other).  Make it a terrific Spring season!

Sincerely,

Dr. DaBeth Manns
